Using your Vice Versa card is easy. Simply find a Vice Versa Partner outlet in the Premium Guide to Dubai or in the Partner Outlet section on this website and present your Vice Versa card when you pay.
Rewarding yourself with the Vice Versa card
When you spend money in a Vice Versa Partner outlet, present your card to the cashier. He/she will tell you the balance on your card and REWARD your card with Card-Cash according to your purchase amount and the Card-Cash percentage stated in the Premium Guide to Dubai or on the Partner outlet section on this website.
Example: You spend 1,000 Dirhams in a Partner outlet that provides 10% Card-Cash. You will pay 1,000 Dirhams and your Vice Versa card will be rewarded with 100 Dirhams worth of Card-Cash.
Redeeming your Card-Cash
The Card-Cash that you make in one Vice Versa Partner outlet can be spent immediately in another. Simply find a Partner outlet in the Premium Guide to Dubai or on the Partner outlet section on this website and choose what you want to spend your Card-Cash on. Instruct the cashier that you wish to pay with your Vice Versa card.
The cashier will check your Card-Cash balance and deduct Card-Cash according to the value of your purchase. If your Cash-Cash balance is not sufficient for the purchase, you can top up with cash or a credit card. You will also be rewarded with new Card-Cash even when you REDEEM in a Partner outlet.
Example: You decide to buy a book for 100 Dirhams and present the Vice Versa card to the cashier, who will check your balance and deduct 100 Dirhams worth of Card-Cash from your Vice Versa card balance. They will then reload the card with your new reward according to the Card-Cash percentage the outlet offers.
You will be provided with a receipt every time you use your Vice Versa card – always check your balance shows the correct Card-Cash before you leave the outlet.
Card activation and security
The card will activate itself automatically upon the first use and the cashier will ask you for two security numbers - your home country mobile number and date of birth. This method of activation is designed to protect your privacy and prevent you from having to spend time filling out an application form.
Both numbers are required solely as a means of tracing your card and its transaction details should your card be damaged, lost or stolen. Vice Versa will NEVER share your security numbers with third parties, we require them as a security reference only. It is important to provide the correct numbers as you will need them again if you wish to stop your card or save and transfer your Card-Cash balance when you leave Dubai.
When the card is activated it is valid for 1 month – click on the Apply for a Gold card link to extend the validity of your Card-Cash by upgrading your card to a Gold card, valid for 2 years.
