Located at our head offices in Dubai Internet City, the Vice Versa IT platform offers retailers the technology to implement and maintain smart chip programmes that provide real rewards to card users.
The ‘Vice Versa’ principle is refreshingly simple in the way in which it allows the card user to earn and redeem points. By translating the points into local currency, the Vice Versa principle allows the card user to literally make money as they spend money.
Loyalty and incentive card programmes can require significant investment to implement and be costly to run - but with the Vice Versa IT platform and data services, both set up and maintenance costs are significantly reduced.
The Vice Versa platfrom operates on a ‘plug & play’ system, whereby all the technology and ‘back office’ systems are housed at our headquarters. All the retailer needs to run a smart card programme is a loyalty terminal in each outlet.
Data is hosted and processed at our headquarters and retailers and/or their CRM partners can access it via the internet.
We also provide a toolkit for smaller retailers who do not work with a CRM partner to help them make sense of the data themselves. Using the toolkit, smaller retailers can benefit from a loyalty or incentive scheme, without having to invest heavily in either the infrastructure or resources to manage it.
Premium Guide to Dubai
Vice Versa combines tourist information with an exciting shopping experience that is aimed specifically at premium visitors. The pocket sized welcome package clearly explains what visitors can do in Dubai and conversely, what Dubai can do for them in return by using the Vice Versa card.
The card is attractively presented inside the ‘Premium Guide to Dubai,’ which includes a detailed list of Partner outlets within every category, along with the services they offer, location and how to get there.
There is no initial charge to the tourist for the card or welcome package, allowing it to be distributed with ease.*
Vice Versa Silver card
Using the benefits of smart chip technology, the Vice Versa card operates on a simple, transparent and instant benefit philosophy that enhances the visitors’ experience and increases spend whilst in Dubai.
When presenting a Vice Versa card at a Partner outlet, tourists and business travellers will first pay the full amount for the goods/services as usual; e.g. by cash or credit card. After the purchase they are rewarded by a fixed proportional percentage of the purchase amount onto the Vice Versa card. This amount is referred to as ‘Cash-Cash’.
Visitors can continue to shop in Vice Versa Partner outlets and build up or redeem the value on the card – in effect making money as they spend money.
At any point they can choose to redeem the Card-Cash for goods/services in Partner outlets, ensuring they benefit whilst Vice Versa Partner outlets benefit too!
Vice Versa Gold card
Vice Versa offers tourists and business travellers a long term membership option with the Vice Versa Gold programme, valid for two years. It is possible for visitors using a Silver card to upgrade to a Gold card and transfer their Card-Cash balance.
*The first Dhs25 ($7) of Card-Cash accumulated on the card is deducted as a card fee for the welcome package.
